Mangino’s Pizzeria opens it first modern industrial “Family-Style” Restaurant in New Castle, PA!
The new pizzeria location will be the Mangino’s largest and first “Family-Style” pizzeria restaurant in New Castle, Pennsylvania. With abundant hand-crafted repurposed wood and iron tables and over-sized banquettes to serve large families or teams.
They are excited to present their new restaurant to the city that inspired it all. The restaurant’s unique casual dining atmosphere takes you on a journey through New Castle’s vibrant steel mill and industrial history. The “wall-sized” historic photos of the local steel mills, bridges, trains and the hard working turn-of-the-century workers—tell a story of pride and strong work ethics of their hometown’s industrial roots. The Mangino’s worked closely with the Lawrence County Historical Society to find meaningful images that conveyed the strength of the community.
The interior design is a modern industrial concept that combines youthful modern graphics with vintage materials ( some over 100 years old ). Where vintage colors, repurposed lumber, aged steel, factory angle-iron, hardened rivets and gears are the inspiration to repurpose local industrial factories and railroad building materials for a new purpose in the restaurant world.
“Award-winning pizzeria & restaurant in New Castle, builds upon its hometown’s industrial roots with a new interior concept of “Industrial Modern” focused on community pride and steel mill work ethics.”
The restaurant also showcases an AAF award-winning team. From the food photography of local Pittsburg Photographer Michael Ray, lead by creative director Lisa Absher of Absher Design Group, Inc. in Naples, Florida. Absher Design is also the branding and marketing team for the interior concept, branding to the Mangino’s Pizzeria award-winning commercials.
